Huawei, one of the main global suppliers of IT&C solutions, brought the newest and best-performing IT&C technologies back to Bucharest, in a personalized truck, within the Huawei Roadshow 2018 Exhibition.

At this time, the caravan featuring the latest Huawei technologies is going along a circuit through the Northern countries and Central Europe, and Romania has been the second destination – after Poland – added once more to the exhibit’s route. Since the local IT&C market is dynamic and continually expanding, with more young professionals coming in every day, Romania is considered one of the countries where the development of a new generation of local talent is closely related to latest-technology access.

Huawei Roadshow is a worldwide-awaited tradition, with an increasingly complex route, and the number of cities visited growing every year. The Roadshow truck made its debut in 2009, personalized to feature Huawei technologies, and hosting different presentations and demos every year; this year, it could be visited in Bucharest between  May 7 th and  May 11th.

“Through this event we aim to highlight IT&C innovations, taking a big-picture look at the digital transformations taking place both on the local and international market. The premieres of this roadshow are the 5G technology and the equipment that comes with a complete radio site, adding the client’s equipment, with a worldwide debut during the Barcelona MWC, in February 2018, and as well complete solutions for private mobile networks, based on 4G technologies such as “Rapid eLTE”, especially designed for disasters and emergency situations.”, stated Vlad Doicaru, Enterprise & Integrated Accounts Director of Huawei Romania.

Huawei is present on the Romanian market since 2003, contributing to the modernization of the telecom industry through its sustainable long-term growth objectives. Since Huawei Romania’s investment is not in technology only, but focuses on people, currently the company has over 1,500 employees, over 78% of them being from the local market.
