Luxoft Holding Inc., one of the top suppliers of software development and innovative IT solutions at global level, is continuing its expansion in Romania and is hiring 100 IT specialists within its Auto division. They will join a team of over 450 IT engineers who are developing projects for auto sector clients.

Luxoft Romania’s Auto Division is developing solutions for infotainment systems found in today’s modern cars. The team of Romanian specialists is working, ever since 2011, on creating advanced telematics and multimedia functions that cover a wide range of functions such as easy access to safety systems or interaction with high-performing audio and navigation devices. The applications developed and implemented by this division facilitate a more pleasant and safer human-car experience.

In 2016, Luxoft Romania’s Auto division will develop some of the most complex IT engineering projects. Early this year, the company is hiring IT specialists with a passion for the auto domain, on positions such as Technical Lead, C++ Developers and Test Specialists. Depending on the experience level demanded, these positions require the ability to work with IT technologies and languages such as Linux and C++, as well as advanced English language skills.

“Luxoft Romania’s auto domain projects have grown in number and complexity on a yearly basis, so that the Auto division has evolved at a sustained pace and has ended up having hundreds of persons. We will continue to attract specialists with a passion for the auto domain in order to boost our capacity to answer the market demand by offering the best solutions,” Luxoft Romania CEO Bogdan Pelinescu (photo)stated.

The positive evolution of projects is also reflected in the continued development of this division within the company, based on specific competences and technologies.
“We respect our commitment to contribute to forming the future generations of IT industry professionals and leaders. That is why we are recruiting both persons with relevant experience in the domain as well as young people who are at the start of their careers, training them and offering them the necessary framework to professionally evolve,” Bogdan Pelinescu pointed out.

Luxoft entered the Romanian market in 2008 by taking over ITC Networks, one of the biggest and oldest software and telecommunications companies on the local market. Luxoft Romania has over 1,500 employees and is, from this standpoint, Luxoft’s second-largest delivery centre. The company offers product engineering and application development services to clients in the telecom, financial and auto domains.
